Sláinte to Speyside

There was only so much we could glean from reading the tomb of a book entitled 'The Life and Times of William Grant'. As insightful as it is there comes a stage when a visit to the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Speyside is the only way to get a true understanding of the man's achievements and to 'properly' conduct our research ahead of creating the META brand. In between tours and tastings we found ourselves standing next to the great man's grave. Some 'brass rubbing' ensued and we noticed that William's name had a crossed 'W'. Without hesitation this info was communicated to our collaborators at the Face37 type foundry in London, who were creating a bespoke typeface for the project.
